He was predeceased by: his wife Rose; his stepchildren, Randall and Denise; and his parents, Marcien Belanger and Marie Belanger.
He is survived by: his children, Marc and Marie (Peter); his grandchildren, Sebastian (Ashley), Stephan and Simone; his stepsons, Rudy (Wendy) and Bradley (Janine); and his grandchildren, Ardis, Travis, Lonny and Ayla. He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.
