He is survived by: his children, Gerald Thiessen and Al Thiessen (Chris); his grandchildren, Warren Thiessen (Olly) of Devan Thiessen, Deanna Nickel (Steve) of Devan Thiessen, Geoff Thiessen (Jessica) of Devan Thiessen and Joel Thiessen of Devan Thiessen; his great grandchildren, Bennett Nickel, Caleb Nickel, Timothy Thiessen and Nathan Thiessen; his siblings, Bill Thiessen, Harold Thiessen (Emily) and Mary Reimer (Vic); and his brother-in-law Corney Martens.
