He was predeceased by: his parents, Franz Letkemann and Aganeth Letkemann; his siblings, Helen Letkemann, Frank Letkemann (Nettie), Jake Letkemann, Dave Letkemann and John Letkemann; and his brother-in-law Dave Dueck.
He is survived by: his wife Mary; his sons, Melvin Letkeman (Enid) and Allan Letkeman (Monica); his sisters, Elizabeth Dueck, Mary Adrian (Laverne) and Nettie Henrichs (Ed); and his sister-in-law Tina Letkemann. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, one great grandchild.
