With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Ruth McConnell in Rosetown, Saskatchewan, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her son Larry McConnell; her brothers, Jim Gardner (Donna) and Sonny Gardner; and her brothers-in-law, Harry Bayless, Wesley Smith, John McConnell (Doreen), Lorne McConnell (Kay) and Bob Higgins.
She is survived by: her husband George McConnell; her children, Shannon (Rick Sonmor) of Dalmeny, Tony (Candace), Scott, Mitchell (Jazzlynn) and Patricia (Ron Boechler) of Saskatoon; her grandchildren, Matthew (Eryka), Christopher (Kate), Devon and Hannah; her great grandchildren, Jenna, Enver, Isla and Layne; her sisters, Jeanne Bayless and Gladys Smith; and her sister-in-law Lena Higgins. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Acadia McKague's Funeral Chapel (915 Acadia Dr, Saskatoon, SK S7H5N4).
