She was predeceased by: her husband Bill; her son William Gordon; her granddaughter Brittany; and her siblings, Del Gillies (Blanche), Gordon O'Shaughnessy and Elaine (Paul Senecal).
She is survived by: her children, Peggy Lee (Robert Simpson), Jay (Karen Yaseniuk), Heather (Reginald Hickmott), Lisa (Matthew Kelly), Shannon and Gregory (Carolyn Maloney); her grandchildren, Meaghan, Jason, Courtney, Matthew, Amy, Bethany, Jarrod, Justin, Ciaran, Madeleine, Ellis and William; her great grandchildren, Eden, Jack, Owen, Aiden, Rylan, Andrew and Collin; her sister Lucy Fisk; and her sister-in-law Ev O'Shaughnessy. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Marj's name to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society.
