He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie Paterson and Jim Paterson. He is survived by: his wife Shirley; his sons, Michael (Shelley) and Russell (Jodie); his grandchildren, Jessica and Mitchell; his nephew Paul (Laura); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Kaylee and Connor. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
