He was predeceased by: his father Sam Geddes; his wife Sybil; his siblings, Fred, Alex, William (Bill), Lawrence, Myrtle, Irene and Ruby; his adoptive children, Steve and Katherine; and his grandchildren, Richard Jr. (Rock), Melanie, Christopher, Christian, William, Michael and Randy.
He is survived by: his children, Richard (Sharon), Beverly and Erma; and his great grandchild Jordan. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great, great, grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
