It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maicie McCallum of Richard, Saskatchewan, born in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, who passed away on December 17, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her grandparents, John, Doreen McCallum, Christina Ballantyne (Emil), Susanne Custer (Ettine), Charlie McKay, Elizabeth Linklater, Joseph McKay and Angus "Angie" McKay; her great-grandparents, Benjamin, Florence McKay, Richard and Alice McCallum; and her chapan Gilbert Linklater.
She is survived by: her parents, May McCallum and Colin Ballantyne; her siblings, Mya Sewap, Avely, Avra, Brenda, Benjamin Sewap, Aden McCallum, Maison Ballantyne-McCallum, Colwin, Colin Jr., Allise and Colby; her grandmother Nancy Ballantyne; her godparents, Rachel and Richard Michel; her brother-in-law Landon Linklater; her uncles, Clayton McCallum, Simeon McCallum and Curtis McCallum (Veronica); her chapans Rev. Elias Ballantyne (Jean); her aunts, RaNessa, Raeann Dorion, Ramona, Gabbi Linklater, Vera Nateweyes, Jacinta Linklater, Katelyn Linklater, Nadine Linklater, Sara Van and Brocck; her grandmothers, Rena Dorion, Carrie Ann Nateweyes, Myrtle Ballantyne, Harriette Michel and Jacqueline Cook; her uncle William W. McCallum; and her aunt Lynnette Linklater. She is also survived by numerous aunties, uncles, cousins.
