He was predeceased by: his parents, Theresa Wapan and William Wolfe; his siblings, Darlene Wapan, Dean Wapan and Wanda Wapan; his daughter Rina Matechuck-Wapan; his grandchildren, Adrianna Matechuck and Dalyn Matechuck; and his stepson Darnell Louison.
He is survived by: his nephew Charles Wapan; his wife Janell Wapan; his sister Beverly Anne Crawford; his children, Victoria Matechuck, Adam Matechuck (Amber Delorme), Stephanie Matechuck, Coltan Matechuck and Sabrina Matechuck (Theo Delorme); his stepchildren, Jolisa Bird, Randall Louison and Timothy Louison; and his nieces, Lana and Marylynn Wapan. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
