With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Verden Valentine Yahnke (Regina, Saskatchewan), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 1, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Caroline; his great grandchildren, Daisey and Zoey Cunningham; his parents, Mike Yahnke and Elizebeth Yahnke; his siblings, Ernie, Eddie, Evelyn Werscheler (Frank), Reinhold Yanke (Dina), Ruth Schick (Phillip), John Yahnke (Emma), Ernest Yahnke (Margaret), Pearl Danchuk (Bill), Gladys Kitch, Edna Olm (Gordon), Iris Miller (Walter) and Aradine Semechuk; and his in-laws, Fred Graff, Kenneth Andrews, Lavina Thompson (Paul) and Sigurd Smith.
He is survived by: his daughters, Corinna Cunningham (Scott) and Tamra Griffin (Dale); his grandchildren, Michael, Krista (Adrian), Amanda, Kelsi, Hannah (Chris) and Joel (Jayna); his great grandchild Morgun; his siblings, Vera Andrews and Victor Yahnke (Marion); and his sister-in-law Myrna Smith. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Mount Olive Memorial Fund, or Parkinson's Research.
