She was predeceased by: her mother Kathleen Wankel; her brother Wesley Scott; her niece Susanna Wankel; and her stepmother Joan Wankel. She is survived by: her father Wesley Wankel of Chilliwack, BC; her brother Randy Wankel (Judy) of Victoria, BC; her nephew James (Lindsay); her sister Colleen Perry (Craig) of North Vancouver, BC; her nephews, Mark Perry (Kelly) and Tim Perry (Hillary); her sister Elaine Nakonechny (Darryl) of Lethbridge; her nieces and nephews, Kira Martindale (Pat) and Kevin Nakonechny (Kendal); her sister Michelle Diehl (Leighton) of Victoria; and also Kayleah Diehl. She is also survived by nine great nieces and nephews as well as extended family.
