He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Hook and Doreen Hook; his son Jeff; and his grandparents, Charles, Sid and Kay Anderson.

He is survived by: his wife Terry; his son Jason; his grandsons, Tyler, David, James and Thomas; his great grandchildren, Brody, Trenton, Dallas and Kaycee; and his brother Donald (Marta). He is also survived by his nephews and niece.
