He was predeceased by: his children, Laura McKay and Terrence McKay; his parents, John McKay and Margaret McKay; and his siblings, Donald Mckay, Emily McKay, Joseph McKay, Archie McKay Pearl McKay and Lena McKay.
He is survived by: his wife Darla McKay; his daughters, Patricia and Cindy McKay; his siblings, Jackie McKay, Kathleen Mueller, Violet Hauser and Frieda Antcil; and his nieces and nephews, Sharon Kinney, Brian McKay, Terry Wilson, Jeffrey Wilson, Sherry Wilson, Donna McKay, Allan McKay, Wanda Gurney, Peggy McKay and Pam McKay.
A wake was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 4:00 PM and at 5:00 PM. A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Cecelia's R. C. Church (5020 7th Ave, Regina, SK S4T5B9).
