He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Gaylene Skinner; his son RJ; his parents, Sara Doris and Ronald Leigh Skinner; his sisters, Leanna Rae and Kimberley Dawn; and his daughters, Whitney Dawn and Charlotte Merchant.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Chapel of Bailey's Funeral Home (45 Fifth Ave N, Yorkton, SK S3N0Y9). A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Yorkton Memorial Gardens Family Centre (SK-10, Yorkton, SK S3N0Y9).

Memorials in memory of Ron Skinner may be made to the Hospitals of Regina Foundation for the Regina General Hospital for Cardiac Care.
