He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Marie and Rose Marie; his siblings, Freda Eistetter and Peter Dielschneider; and his brothers-in-law, Don, Gordon and Willy.

He is survived by: his wife Florence; his children, Connie, Shannon (Kevin Konanz) and Wayne (Veronica); his grandchildren, Brooklin (Austin), Mason (Kelsey), Hayden (Mackenzie), Jaxson and Aaron (Tamara); his great grandchildren, Bensen, Henley, Harper, Wally, Lucas and Jayden; and his sisters, Doris, Loretta and Beatrice.

Memorial Donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, or to the Canadian Cancer Society in memory of Ron.
