He is survived by: his wife Pat; his children, Natasha Haddow (Joe), Ryan Kotrla, Melissa Brandt and Rob Kos (Andrea); his siblings, Norbert Kotrla (Shirley) and Marilyn Kotrla (Glen Alldred); his grandchildren, Matthew, Tanner Kotrla, Meghan Brandt (Jonathan Caron), Cooper and Savannah Kos; his brother-in-law Don Schmidt; and his nieces and nephews, Juanita (Juan), Ben (Roxanne), Joel (Mishonna), Mandi (Blazej), Jamin (Jen), Derrick and Dawn Schmidt.
