He is survived by: his wife Enid Margaret Mayes; his children, Patricia Nemeth (Julius), Della Springer (David), Charles, Linda Dickenson (Jim), Cheryl Sayers (Doug) and Barb Karaim (Robb); and his sister Anne. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and their spouses; 16 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Regina Funeral Home and Cemetery (4001 Victoria Ave, Regina, SK S4T1M8).

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Richard may be made to Soul's Harbour.
