He was predeceased by: his parents, Pete and Nettie; his brother Leo; his father-in-law Frank; and his siblings-in-law, Bill Derkach, Ed Karpinski and Leona Hanas.

He is survived by: his wife Bev; his children, Trina, Trent and Tammy; his grandchildren, Emily and Holden; his mother-in-law Elsie Zulyniak; his sisters, Sonia Derkach and Gloria Karpinski; and his brothers-in-law, Brad Zulyniak (Pat), Brian Zulyniak (Cheryl) and Randy Zulyniak (Lori). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
