He was predeceased by: his significant other Carol; his sons, Michael and Bob; his son-in-law Leonard Koot; his parents, John Schlosser and Amelia Schlosser; and his siblings, Katherine Klein and Joseph Schlosser.

He is survived by: his children, Peggy Hogan (Murray), Kathleen Fischl (Jack), Colleen Koot, Bryan Schlosser (Lois) and Barry Schlosser (Belva); his grandchildren, Earl Fischl (Leslie), Amanda Dureau, Tim Hogan (Connie), Michael Schlosser (Jim), Michael Koot (Megan), Ryan Hogan (Kayla), Mark Koot (Amy) and Cole Schlosser; and his great grandchildren, Addison, Ava, Eddie, Henry, Jake, Maxwell, Quin, Thomas and Violet.
