She was predeceased by: her husband Leo; her parents, Mike Melnyk and Jenny Melnyk; her brother Bill (Virginia); and her sister-in-law Eleanor Melnyk.
She is survived by: her children, Betty Seidenthal (Hans), Bill Wozney (Cindy) and Sonya Ness (Dwight); her grandchildren, Paul (Lori), Christie (Brian), Rachel (Scott), Amy (Eric), Braunie (Alyssia) and Billy (Heather); her great grandchildren, Jonah, Lois, Lila, Samson, Avie, Sunny, Maddy, Gunnar and Ben; her siblings, Frances Daum (Robert) and Jim; and her sister-in-law Carol Makowsky (Richard). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
