She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob Temple and Mary Temple; her former husband George Rathgeber; her husband Allan Bonk; her brothers, Peter, Alfred, Arnold and Rheinhold; and her sisters-in-law, Christine, Helen, Erna, Janet, Helga and Leisa.

She is survived by: her children, Darwin (Vanessa), Dennette Hungle (Bob), Delee Sawa (Raymond) and Donean Horbal (Scott); her grandchildren, Jared (Sunny), Tristan (Jessica), Chelsea (Kenny), Chandra (Alex), Darrick, Alexa (Austin), Evan, Kennedy (Matt), Nicholas and Eric; her great grandchildren, Joey, Alison, Nate, Nolan and Talia; her siblings, Eleanor Bohay (Henry), Gladys Mattern (Dennis) and Ernie; and her sister-in-law Karen Bonk. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Lydia's name to Wascana Grace Hospice, 50 Angus Road, Regina.
