She was predeceased by: her husband John Nicholson; her parents, George Mehling and Amalia Mehling; and her siblings, Bill Mehling (Freda), Arnold Mehling (Emily), Edmund Mehling (Emma), Richard Mehling (Doreen), Magdalene and Minnie Mehling.
She is survived by: her children, Lisa Gares (Craig Hart), Shelley Schultz (Garth) and Bob Nicholson (Stephanie); her grandchildren, Jessica Gares, Amanda Stewart (Cody), Samantha, Ben Schultz, Grace and William Nicholson; and her great grandchild Louie Stewart. She is also survived by her children and grandchildren.
