We are sad to announce that on July 7, 2024, at the age of 86, Jennie Catherine Deck in Regina, Saskatchewan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Doug; and her parents, August Mazil and Emily Mazil. She is survived by: her children, Brian (Denise), Sheila (Duane), Karen (Lyle) and Terry (Cheryl); her grandchildren, Brennan (Megan), Michael (Kassia), Brady, Christine (Marco), Carly, Shelby and Sara; and her great grandchildren, Wesley and Miles.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian National Institute for the Blind (CNIB Foundation, 1929 Bayview Avenue, Toronto, ON, https://www.cnib.ca.).

“I first met Doug who set up our first well on the acreage that I live on. He was very proud of all of his family and I enjoyed our chats. I joined the Catholic Church in Lumsden and that is where I met Jennie. Over the years we were on various committees and we became friends. Nearly every Sunday after Mass, I would attend breakfasts and brunches with the Church ladies. What fun! Jennie was a sweet lady and was well liked by so many people . It is a privilege to have known her. 💕 ♥️”
