She was predeceased by: her husband John J. Mahoney; her parents, Jack Chisholm and Marie Chisholm; her sisters, Joan McDonald (Pat) and Maureen Aquino (Al); and her sisters-in-law, Sister Margaret A. Mahoney and Margaret L. Mahoney.

She is survived by: her children, Ron Mahoney (Joan), Ross Mahoney (Traci), Jim Mahoney (Susan) and Maureen Stinnen (Dan); her grandchildren, Gillian (Tyson), Michael (Iva), Adrienne (Rob), Caitlyn, Erin, Amanda (Drew), Matthew (Jon) and Stephanie (Dante); her great grandchildren, Milo and Liam; and her sister Noreen Reid (Ernest).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Saskatchewan Nurses Foundation for a bursary in honour of Jean.
