He was predeceased by: his parents, Kuldeep Singh Bhandal and Beant Kaur Bhandal. He is survived by: his wife Harkiranjit Bhandal; his brother Tony Bhandal; his siblings-in-law, Harpreet Bhandal, Kamal Grewal, Gurbax Khatra (Rajwant Khatra) and Jatinder Khatra (Balreet Khatra); and also Harinder Grewal. He is also survived by four nieces and four nephews.
