He is survived by: his former wife Irene Andres; his wife Julia Ristow (Murray); his children, Stephen (Nancy) of Calgary, AB., Kim (Jelana), Heidi Bergeron (Guylain) of Sainte-Adele, QC and Shawn (Heather) of Shaunavon, SK; his grandchildren, Quinn (Lauren) of Columbus, Alex (Essie) of Halifax, NS, Samuel (Dana) of Vancouver, BC, Sebastien Bergeron of Regina, SK, Fabien Bergeron of Halifax, NS, Natalka McCulley (Ashley) of Coupeville and Washington; his siblings, Peter (Elizabeth) of Michelbach, Germany, Ursula Hahn of Frankfurt, Monika Engeler (Peter) of Struvenhiitten and Barbara Ruesgen of Kelowna, BC; and his sister-in-law Helga Eckart of Michelbach, Germany. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
