He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Derkitt and Caroline Derkitt; and his siblings, Gertrude Masson, Marion Macdonald, Iris Leib, Frank, Jim, Lawrence and Robert.
He is survived by: his wife Louise; and his daughter Jennifer (Mike Ingle).
