She was predeceased by: her parents, Ethel Heckbert and Wesley Heckbert; her daughters, Nancy Brooks (Cliff McEwen), Aletha Craig and Gladys (Glenn Dancy); and her siblings, Ethel (Lloyd Parsons) and Ernest (Velda Heckbert).
She is survived by: her daughters, Bernice Morse (Bill), Desiree Brooks and Sheila Klein (Jason); her grandchildren, Evan Gibbs (Camille), Jeff Gibbs (Pam), Ayla Lichtenwald (Curtis), Katherine Klein-Walthers (Chase), Tyler Brooks, Spencer Brooks (Nicola) and Cameron Klein (Landyn); her great grandchildren, Carter Gibbs, Kylie Hartmier (Cole), Brianna Gibbs (Jayden) and Ashlyn Gibbs (Alex); and her great great grandchildren, Raelyn Gibbs, Kyson, Emmalyn Toews and Philip Lichtenwald. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, special friends.
A memorial service was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Faith Baptist Church (437 Broadway Ave E, Regina, SK S4N0Z8).
In Lieu of flowers the family is asking for donations to be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
