She was predeceased by: her parents, John Bernhardt and Mary Bernhardt; her husband William "Bill" Zimmer; her siblings, George, Jacob, Annie, Freda, John and Madeline; her son Robert (Margaret); and her daughter-in-law Ruby.
She is survived by: her sisters, Margaret and Caroline; and her children, Caroline (Lawrence), David and Rienold (Penny). She is also survived by nine grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
