He was predeceased by: his parents, Andy Vancha and Alice Vancha; his sister Linda Vancha; and his in-laws, Dave and Dorthy.

He is survived by: his wife Linda Vancha; his children, Penny Kotylak (Edward) and Andrew Vancha; his grandchildren, David, Amanda Kress (Jonathon), Kayla Rey (Matthew) and Jordon Kotylak; his great grandchildren, Xavier Vindevoghel, Joshua Coates, Hadley Rey, Vance Kress, Isabel Kress, Knox Rey and Wesley Kress; his brother Darryl Vancha; and his sister-in-law Donna (Brad). He is also survived by Grandison; other siblings, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
