He was predeceased by: his parents, Elizabeth Pontius and Ralph Pontius; his siblings, George (Evelyn), Elmer (Emma), O'Ray (Muriel), Esther Hargreaves (Tom), Elizabeth Beatty (Robert), Ella Dyer (Clint) and Joan Crawford (Lorne); and his granddaughter Carly Elisha Jordan.

He is survived by: his wife Joan; his daughters, Teresa Jordan (Terry) and Marcia (Cory Brandhagen); and his grandchildren, Will Jordan, Paige Chambers and Hunter Murray. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
