He is survived by: his wife Martha Leone Irvine; his children, Randel Thunberg (Ulla), Colleen Schindel (Duane) and Pamela Rodriguez; his grandchildren, Kyle Thunberg, Paul Thunberg (Kristina), Jayden Schindel, Spencer Schindel, Jaclyn Polson (Brendan), Rebecca Thunberg, Hannah Rodriguez and Levi Rodriguez; his great grandchildren, Maggie Thunberg and Max Thunberg; and his brothers, Donald Thunberg (Vi) and Paul Thunberg (Pat). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
