She is survived by: her father Archie; her children, Shalyn Desjarlais, Dre Okemaysim, Denee Okemaysim and Mathew Okemaysim; her grandchildren, Brian, Odessa Tanishkishayinew, Daleyza Okemaysim Head, Elaira Okemaysim Caron, Sheldon Wade Desjarlais III and Exsanthia Martell; her siblings, Larrisa Pipin, Cherish Merasty and Anthony Cardinal; and her stepmother Shirley Weenie.
A wake was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Piapot First Nation Band Hall (79 Main Street, Pasqua First Nation, SK S0G5M0). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
