He was predeceased by: his parents, Allan Cowan and Lillian Cowan (Benson); and his grandson Rylan. He is survived by: his wife Debbie; his children, Clair (Tracey), Todd, Dara (TJ), Denise (Carey), Mike (Sheri) and Amanda (Chad); his grandchildren, Jason, Katrina (Alex), Kevin (Isabella), Jace, Derek, Cali, Colby, Russel (Laci), Doyle, Braelyn, Ty (Ashley), Madisyn and Hudson; his great grandchildren, Emmett, Autumn, Raina, Krystyn and Carter; his mother-in-law Teddie; and his siblings, Sharon (Wayne), Rick (Faye) and Mark (Margo). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Regina Funeral Home and Cemetery (4001 Victoria Ave, Regina, SK S4T1M8).
