He was predeceased by: his mother Joanne Samwald; and his grandparents, Mary Samwald and James Samwald. He is survived by: his daughter Mary Arabella Samwald-Cleland; his siblings, Tanner Samwald, Michael, Ashley, Nayana, Sadie and Willow; his aunt Janine Samwald; his father David Thorpe; his grandparents, June and Ed Thorpe; and the mother of his child Phionna Cleland. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
