He was predeceased by: his wife Lorraine; his parents, Frank Hesse and Hedwig Hesse; and his siblings, William, Marianne, Herbert, Paul, Wilfred, Agnes, Joseph, Otto, Dorothy and Francis.
He is survived by: his children, Deborah Richter [Hesse], Timothy Hesse (Bev) and Douglas Hesse; his grandchildren, Michelle, Scott (Tanis), Tara, Adam (Erin) and Richter; his children, Shawn and Chad (Jenna); his great grandchildren, Noah, Sophia, Ashlyn, Ella, Isaiah, Roman and Maverick [Richter]; his grandchildren, Kensington, Georgia and Magnolia [Hesse]; and his siblings-in-law, Swede Johnson, Edith Hesse, Evelyn O'Shaughnessy and Eleanor Leopky. He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
