He was predeceased by: his siblings, Laurie, Ian, Joan and Berne; and his children, Jennifer and John.

He is survived by: his wife Dongyan; his siblings, Bruce (Marlene) and Patricia; and his children, Cameron and Beth. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many beloved friends.
