With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Annie Helena Van Vliet of Regina, Saskatchewan, who passed away on January 23, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Annie is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Annie's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Willem Arnoldus Gerardus Andreis of Ridder and Anna Theodora Holstege; her son Doug; and her brother Tom. She is survived by: her husband Pieter Van Vliet; her children, Trudy (Fossey), Michael and Jim; and her siblings, Bep and Willem.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Westminster United Church (3025 13th Ave, Regina, SK S4T1P1).
Ann received the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal for her lifetime contribution to the community in recent years.
