He was predeceased by: his wife Irene Edwards (Lange); his parents, Frederick Edwards and Eva Edwards; his sister Corinne Edwards; his son Garry Edwards; his siblings-in-law, Bob Lange and June Tammi; and his parents-in-law, Bertha and Leonard Lange.

He is survived by: his children, Dennis, Kelly Edwards (Theresa) and Karen Carnduff (Craig); his grandchildren, Michael Edwards, Melissa McKee (Kurt), Gage Carnduff and Samantha Carnduff; his great grandchild Liam Edwards; and his sister-in-law Barbara Lange.

The family requests memorial donations to be made to the Canadian Cancer Society in lieu of flowers.
