He was predeceased by: his daughter Paulette; his son-in-law Brian Dobson; his parents, O'Neil Boutin and Marie Boutin; his siblings, Antonio Boutin (Thérèse), Rosario Boutin, Laurier Boutin and Julia Gervais (Alex); and his brother-in-law Joe Piwowar.

He is survived by: his wife Marguerite; his daughter Dianne Dobson of Caroline, Alta.; his grandchildren, Christa Dobson (Denis Gilbertson) and Lyle Dobson (Melissa); his son Denis Boutin (Annette) of Alida, Sask.; his grandchildren, Daniel Boutin (Amy), Audrey, Isaac, Laura and David Boutin; his son Gille Boutin (Cheryle) of Alida, Sask.; his grandchild Stephanie Campbell (Derek); his son Yvan Boutin (Pamela) of Spruce Grove, Alta.; his grandchildren, Renée, Natalie and Jackson Boutin; his daughter Doris Morrow (Scott) of Regina, Sask.; his grandchildren, Samantha Morrow and Caelan Morrow; his sisters, Victoria Boutin of Carlyle, Angeline Boulet (Roland) of Olds and Marie Piwowar of Edmonton, Alta.; and his sisters-in-law, Irene Boutin of Edmonton and Bertha Boutin of Redvers. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
