He was predeceased by: his brother Payton McCurry; his grandfather Jack Nelson; and his nephew Carter James. He is survived by: his children, Brielle McCurry and Caden McCurry; his close friend Max; his parents, Paula Metzger (Troy) and Charles McCurry (Pam); his sister Chelsey James (Chancey); his nieces and nephews, Serenidee, Sienna, Emma-Lee, Eithan and Dawson; his brother Jesse James (Crystal); his nephews, Levi and Caleb; his sister Kayla McCurry (John); his nephews, Iszack and Kyle; his siblings, Gavin McCurry, Tristen Metzger and Dakota Metzger; and his grandparents, Janice Weber (Dennis), Murray James (Wanda), Phyllis Parsons (Jim), John McCurry (Celine), Betty Nelson, Suzanne and Rick Metzger.

In lieu of flowers, contributions to a trust fund for Brielle and Caden would be greatly appreciated.
