She was predeceased by: her parents, Mathew Yates and Cora Yates; her husband Fred Toms; her son Donald Toms; her grandson Aaron Toms; her siblings, Mel Yates (Mary), Pearl Matheson (Lyall), Mabel Toms (Henry), Clarence Yates, Roy Yates, Marguerite Gustafson (Earl) and Russel Yates (Aurore); and her parents-in-law, Jesse and Rosa Toms.
She is survived by: her sons, Dennis Toms (Gisele), Dallas Toms (Debbie) and Barry Toms (Glenda); her grandchildren, Ryan Toms (Melissa), Sherri Boutin (Jody), Christie Myhre (Clayton), Blair Toms (Elizabeth McMullen), Clayton Toms (Jocelyne), Colby Toms (Cianna), Landon Toms (Ashley), Teneille Toms, Jason Toms (Michelle) and Jackie Thul (Cody); and her brother Allan Yates (Marge). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
