He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Peterson and Johanna Peterson; his parents-in-law, Albert and Anne Marie George; his siblings, Eldon, Donald and Myrtle Parkinson; and his siblings-in-law, Ted Parkinson, Harvey George, Raymond George, John Mate, Armande George and Janine Mate.
He is survived by: his wife Marcelle Peterson; his children, Michelle Needham (Reg), Robert Peterson (Deana), Joanne Longphee (Brad) and Tracy Peterson (Kari); his grandchildren, Myles Needham (Michaela), Scott Needham (MacKenzie), Owen Peterson, Nate Peterson, Nicole Longphee, Carson Longphee, Paige Longphee and Nathan Barabonoff; his great grandchildren, Paige Van Ry Broek and Liam Needham; his sisters, Beth George, Bernice Heath and Carol Weger; and his siblings-in-law, Mary-Ann Peterson, Glennis Peterson, Lorraine George, Bob Heath and Paul Weger.
