We are sad to announce that on March 25, 2022, at the age of 76, Rose Mae Kahnapace (Raymore, Saskatchewan) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Oochoo and Helen Oochoo (Pelletier); her siblings, Frances Crow-Buffalo, James Oochoo, Alice Ochoo, Joseph Oochoo, Ivan Oochoo and Ivy Oochoo; her children, Alvin, Joseph (Nooty-Boy) and Sheila Kahnapace; her adoptive daughter Inez Papaquash; and her grandson John Matonie (Mac).
She is survived by: her children, Donna Bird (Ron), Denita Bird (Stan), Lavienda (Vince), Geddes, Karen and Cynthia Smoke-Matonie (Sheldon); her sister Ina Kahnapace; and her adoptive children, Kiley (Jordi), Kalista Papequash, Tanya Oochoo and Gwen Oochoo. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 52 great grand children, 4 great-great grandchildren and other extended family.
