He was loved and cherished by many people including: his son Dakota Ryder; his grandchildren, Cadence, Gabriel, Drayton-Ray and Hazlyn; his stepchildren, Shawn Spencer, Terri Marcia, Demi Spencer and Jeri Spencer; his grandchildren, Madison, Ellie, Avery and Alex; his siblings, Jackie Thompson-Osceola (Steve), Dawn Thompson (Joe), Lani Elliott (Rob), Angela Prettyshield, Holley Rope, Leon Ryder, Chris Prettyshield and Clint Rope; his close friend Sheila Spencer; his brother Clarence Thompson; his grandson Dominic; his sister Rita Rope; his nephew Roman McNabb; his parents, Edgar Prettyshield and Donna Thompson; his grandparents, Katherine Thompson, Duncan and Isabelle Prettyshield; and the mother of his child Katrina Ryder. He was also cherished by Numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
