He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Fredrick Stonechild, Margaret Tuckanow (Hughie McLellan), Peter Severight and Marie G. Chartrand; his mother Delphine E. Severight; his siblings, Peter and Lynnetta Severight; and his daughter Adrianna Matechuk.

He is survived by: his father Peter R. Severight; his adoptive parents, Ted Kaye and Sharon Kaye; his children, Brandon, Brianna, Riley, Aiyanna and Hayden; his grandchildren, Meilani Joy and Zayden; his brother Errol (Tammy); his nieces and nephews, Heith, Amanda and Tameeka; his siblings, Harlon and Newton; his nephew Scott; his niece Divinity; his aunts, Sandy, Patsy, Janet, Delores and Laura; and his cousins, Bubba, Nicole, Royce, Colleen, Dave and Monica. He is also survived by grandaunts/uncles; aunts; uncles; cousins; nieces; and nephews.
