Debbie Marie Keewatin Obituary

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Jake Akapew; her children, Devin, Aaron and Natasha; her grandsons, Jarod Nanapay and Devin Bellegarde Jr.; her parents, Reginald Akapew (Edna Keewatin) and Shirley Akapew; her siblings, Francis Fontaine, Eddie, Arnold, Jackie, Steve and Wesley Keewatin; her children, Wesley (Ashley), Jay (Alana), Jerry, Ashley (Devin), Danica (Tyler) and Brad Wesequate; her siblings, Murray Keewatin, Kevin Starr, Farron Akapew, Deanna Keewatin, Patricia Starr (Russell), Denise McNab, Delia Akapew (Jonas), Diane Akapew (Darnel), Arlene Starr (Kevin) and Cheryl Akapew; her grandchildren, Karley, Kayne, Aryn, Mariah, Jordin, Shane, Mikayla, Cameron, Kylie, Tyson, Draydin, Kara and Shylah; her great grandchildren, Laura, Bryson, Caileigh and Casey; her granddaughters, Elsie Kinequan and Doris Starr; and her close friends, Christine Akapew and Shelley Walker.

A wake was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Community Center. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM.
