He was predeceased by: his parents, Catherine Bellehumeur and Stephen Sparvier; his son Jason R. Sparvier; and his siblings, Lorenzo Sparvier, Wilbert Aisaican (Taylum), Ronald Aisaican, Ken Sparvier, Larry Sparvier, Randy Sparvier, Albina Sparvier (Pozo), Rose Klyne and Noella Gunn (Tilly).

He is survived by: his wife Maria Sparvier; his sister Marlene Perrault; his children, Charlene Desnomie, Arden Sparvier (Shan Okmysm) and Sharla Sparvier; his foster son Russell Bigstone; and his grandchildren, Tyler Desnomie, Rodney Desnomie, Tricia Desnomie (Kirkland Cameron), Taylor Desnomie, Wyatt Desnomie, Jonathan Desnomie, Stephen Sparvier, Samara Isaac, Salia Sparvier, Salisidy Sparvier, Jason Jr. Sparvier and Jayden Sparvier. He is also survived by many great grandchildren, cousins and friends.
