He was predeceased by: his parents, Maurice Vermeulen and Edith Vermeulen; his brother Ken; and his sister-in-law Hope Vermeulen. He is survived by: his wife Carol; his sons, Mark (Ashlee, family: Cassidy, Rylan, Colten, Cody) and Grant (Susan); his siblings, Velma Ekvall (Larry) and Byron Vermeulen (Colleen); and his sister-in-law Glenda Myers (Calvin). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
