Marie Nixon Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marie Nixon (Radville, Saskatchewan), who passed away on July 22, 2024 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Bailey and Myrtle Bailey; her former husband Jack Nelson Oberkirsch; her husband Leslie Nixon; her brothers, Norman Bailey (Evelyn), Walter Stanley Bailey (Beverley), Roy Bailey (Helen) and Ray Bailey; and her brother-in-law Kohzoh Stonefield.
She is survived by: her children, Brenda Quillen (Dan) of Salmon Arm, BC, Garth Oberkirsch (Cheryl) of Weyburn, SK, Garnet Oberkirsch of Lipton, SK, Gaylene Drader (Larry) of Calgary, AB, Debbie-Kae Bolton (Mike) of Dallas, TX, Kevin Oberkirsch (Kelli) of Melville, SK and Jolei Oberkirsch of Neudorf, SK; her siblings, John Bailey (Rosalyn), Mavis Stonefield, Carol Berger, Debbie Van Der Meer and Margo Maxwell (Don); and her sister-in-law Ruth Bailey. She is also survived by 29 grandchildren and 40 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
